The words “holistic health” usually make people think of alternative healing therapies, which is part of it, but it is so much more. The word “holistic” means whole. Your overall health involves much more than just the physical body.

Living a holistic lifestyle is aligning your body, mind, and soul (or spirit) with nature, and becoming the best version of yourself you can be by optimizing all three areas.

If you want to achieve optimal health, living a holistic lifestyle is the most natural and safe way to achieve that. This means living in alignment with nature in ways that will help your body, mind, and soul, or spirit.

They all work together, so we must pay equal attention to all three. Living in harmony with nature goes hand in hand with getting your body, mind, and soul in harmony.

We must play by nature’s rules if we are to thrive. Nature knows what it’s doing, trust it! Humans are made of the same elements that make up animals, trees, flowers, and rocks. Nature shows us how to live, we just have to tune into it. The benefits of a holistic lifestyle are almost too numerous to mention.

To me, it makes more sense to prevent illness naturally rather than waiting until we get sick to try to repair the damage with chemicals and surgery. It makes more sense to follow a proven path to living the healthiest life I can, minimizing my risk of diseases, cancer, and mental illness.

It makes more sense to fully enjoy life as much as possible, live my purpose, and continue to grow and learn to always be improving and evolving, just like nature! If you are with me on this, then you are definitely in the right place!

Why I Created This Blog

I am passionate about living a lifestyle that allows me to be the healthiest version of myself that I can be, and so it is also my passion to help others do the same. Building a holistic lifestyle is fun and doesn’t require a sudden change if you don’t want it to. Making small changes regularly is how you make a big change.

Everyone knows that change is hard, but I like to make it simpler and easier! If just one person’s life can be changed by this information, it will be worth it.

The end goal is to live a totally holistic lifestyle, but any small changes help. You can start off by just eating more fruits and vegetables, starting a gratitude journal, or reading a book about spirituality.

Overall, it’s about aligning yourself with nature and the Universe, and committing to evolving your body, mind, and soul to a state of healthy wholeness.

You might have already tried to make changes in your life with no success. You have probably encountered obstacles that made you feel like giving up. Living a truly holistic lifestyle takes some work, but it certainly helps when you have an idea of the direction to take and have the information you need to motivate you.

It all comes down to routine and rituals. Don’t worry; routine doesn’t have to mean boring! The self-care routines that make up a holistic lifestyle bring calm and inner peace that cannot be experienced by doing them sporadically. Just like meditation and yoga, the benefits take a few weeks to really kick in. But once they do, you will WANT them to be routine!
