flat stomach

Did you know there is a natural and safe way to lose body fat, improve your brain function, slow down aging, reduce inflammation, and improve your digestion? The answer is Intermittent fasting. And not only is it free, but you will save money on your grocery bill! Fasting for good health is not only important, but smart.

Audio/Podcast version:

Most people have negative connotations when it comes to fasting. Even I didn’t understand it fully until recently. It isn’t just about giving up eating certain food for Lent. It isn’t about skipping meals to cut your calorie intake for the day.

Fasting for good health has been done for thousands of years, by some of the smartest most respected people in the world. Most people are not only unaware of how important it is to our health, but they look down on people who regularly fast, thinking they are crazy religious fanatics. So, I want to help dispel the negative stigma around fasting.

There are many reasons why our ancestors weren’t overweight, but one major reason is because they didn’t have access to food 24/7. Nowadays, most people eat anytime they want from the time they get up until they go to bed. Constant eating never gives the body a break from digestion.

The lives we lead are stressful, sleep deprived, and burdened by toxins. These are a few of the many factors that contribute to poor health but fasting is one of the best ways to fix the problem.

Good Resources On Fasting

In my research on fasting, I have discovered two experts who really know what they are talking about. One is a doctor and the other is a celebrity trainer and health author. Since they can explain the science behind fasting, I will share some videos so you can better understand.

This video explains in a simple way so you can easily understand the science of fasting, and how much time it takes to gain the benefits.

If you’ve gotten this far, you might be thinking about giving this a shot. Look no further than Thomas DeLauer. He is one of the leading experts in this field. In all my research, I haven’t found anyone else who provides as much free information on fasting through his YouTube videos.

There are seemingly hundreds of videos he has done on fasting, covering every aspect including; which type of fast is right for you, how to fast depending on your age and gender, how to exercise while you are fasting, how to break your fast, etc.

This is a deep but information-packed rabbit hole. So, if you enjoy this video, there are plenty of others to answer your specific questions about fasting.

Fasting for good health is important, natural, safe, and free! It’s really a no-brainer. Let me know in the comments what your experiences have been with fasting, I would love to hear from you!
