Holistic Health Experts

We live in a world where education and information is abundant and quick to access. Nowadays, you can learn about any given subject within minutes, know more than the average person about that subject within days, and possibly become an expert within weeks.

With an abundance of information comes many opinions on the validity of that information. Some people will only trust certified health experts such as doctors, some people say that anything you read online is false, and some people (like me) question things they learn for a long time until they can safely believe it is true.

Many doctors and teachers don’t have all the answers, many influencers and bloggers only have opinions. But one thing is sure; without the information, you have nowhere to start. Your intuition about what is good or bad for you personally has no footing without the information to begin with. Therefore, it is my duty to share everything I know as well as share with my audience the resources where I have learned it.

Audio/Podcast version:

knowledge

This is the first in a 3-part series of articles where I will share with you authors, doctors, influencers, bloggers, teachers, gurus, websites, and experts that has helped me in my quest for holistic health education. In this first article, I will cover doctors and websites ran by professionals in the health field. In the next two, I will cover spiritual leaders and general self-improvement experts.

This list is most likely missing a few that I have forgotten over the years, but the most consistent ones are all here. These are the very best of the holistic health resources I have come across over the last 10-15 years.

He shares with you which ingredients to look for, which ones to avoid, and the healthiest cost-effective products to buy at all the major grocery chains such as Costco, Aldi, Trader Joe’s, and Whole Foods. After I discovered Bobby’s helpful videos, I never looked at ingredient lists the same way again!

Thomas DeLauer– Fitness & Nutrition Expert, Health Coach

Field of Expertise: Fasting & the Keto diet

Thomas lost 100 pounds and now helps others do the same. I discovered his YouTube channel when I started intermittent fasting; he is one of the best experts on the subject. He uses a lot of technical words (which proves he knows what he’s talking about) while still explaining things in layman’s terms.

Consumer Lab– Supplement Information Website

This website has a monthly membership, but what you get in return is access to independent studies of every supplement and health product out there. You will know which ones actually contain what their labels say, and get their top picks based on quality and cost.

Not only is this a well-known school of Ayurveda, their website and YouTube channels offer loads of information and recipes.

Simple Ayurveda– Website

This website is ran by Angela, who used Ayurveda to cure herself of ulcerative colitis. There is a lot of helpful information as well as a podcast.
